All writers need people who believe in them and nurture them. We feel conferences are the best place to make those connections face-to-face. One writer enthusiastically described it when Cricket asked how he liked his first writers conference, he replied, "I found my people!"
We accept as many invitations as we possibly can to attend conferences so we can give back to the writing community - giving talks, teaching workshops, and conducting one-on-ones. We meet amazing people, but also, we've met nearly 80% of our clients at a writers conference.

SCRIBES: A bestselling writing documentary by filmmaker Rusty Nixon, director of "Candiland," a film based on a novel by Elizabeth Engstrom and starring Gary Busey and "Residue" starring James Clayton.
Filmed at The Surrey International Writers Conference, "Scribes" gives you the inside scoop on what it takes to break into publishing and become a professional writer.
